Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program/Course Objectives/ Outcomes

Nagaland University BBA curriculum is a semi-professional course with the main objective to specify the intellectual and behavioural competencies that the students should possess.  It is also to provide a foundation for their future professional growth, personal development and success. The programme is designed to achieve the following objective:

  • To develop managerial skills among students.
  • To provide a comprehensive learning experience to become business professionals.
  • To develop entrepreneurial skills among students to help them to become successful entrepreneurs.

To inculcate the student’s ability to apply their theoretical knowledge and skills developed during the course of the study and apply it in the field. They have to collect data and prepare a report of their findings on some topics suggested to them or chosen by themselves in consultation with the faculty guide. To teach them the methodology of collecting information and of preparing written work along with understanding the importance and value of field work.

Case Study was included in the revised BBA syllabus (2018) as it helps the students to develop their decision making skills and to understand the scenario of running a business or organisation.

BBA students are also given opportunities through extra-curricular activities such as business events and games. Such competitions based on business and management functioning helps the students to develop their perspectives and skills.

Eligibility for B.B.A.

*Higher Secondary or equivalent examination

*A minimum of 45% aggregate at the HSSLC examination.
